1. Get Some Bids and Choose a Contractor Wisely.
Not all contractors are the same. Make sure to check the contractor on BBB or other web sites, before you commit. You can ask other professionals in the home building industry for recommendations. This would also include lenders.

2. Think Smaller V.S. Huge
The bigger the domestic build, the higher the price tag – it’s right fundamental math. If you’re spending $100 per square foot for a 1,000-square foot home, it’s going to price tag $50,000 less than it would for a 1,500-square foot home.

4. Do Some Tasks Yourself
For instance, you can install your sinks and our toilet, put together your own kitchen, and install your flooring. You can  install  lighting in areas where the contractors ran cable but didn’t add fixtures, and eventually etc.

Paying contractors to put together our kitchen and install our fixtures would got included thousands of dollars to our budget.
